CJC-1295 (No DAC) is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH), commonly referred to as modified GRF 1-29. It contains 29 amino acids and is designed to selectively activate the GHRH receptor (GHRHR) on pituitary somatotrophs, supporting research into pulsatile growth hormone secretion, hypothalamic-pituitary GH axis dynamics, and downstream IGF-1 signaling. Unlike CJC-1295 with DAC, the “No DAC” form does not include the drug-affinity-complex modification, giving it a shorter duration of action and making it useful in studies focused on transient GHRH receptor activation.
